Odido is set to become the first Dutch telecom provider to introduce Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile. This new service will enable business customers to make calls and participate in online meetings using a single number through the mobile network and Microsoft Teams.
According to Odido, this innovative solution combines both platforms and is specifically designed for hybrid working. By integrating Teams Phone Mobile with their mobile network, business users can conveniently use a single business phone number for making mobile calls and utilizing various Teams features for virtual meetings.
Functionality
This integration allows users to seamlessly switch between different devices without the need to log in again. Users of this integrated service will also have a unified call history, the ability to answer calls on any device, and the option to effortlessly switch to another device during a call.
In addition, the reachability status for users is synchronized between the Teams environment and Odido’s mobile network, ensuring that business users can easily track their communication interactions.
Better management capabilities
Ovido’s integration of existing Teams environments with their mobile network is the only mobile integration officially supported by Microsoft 365. This eliminates the need for external applications, simplifying the user experience.
Moreover, the centralized management of phone and Teams calls on a single platform reduces administrative costs as only one platform is required. Additionally, Teams Phone Mobile adheres to the highest security standards, providing businesses with a secure communication environment they can trust.
Odido also offers other business solutions for hybrid working, including the Operator Connect service in addition to the integrated Teams Phone Mobile solution.
