Minor Hotels is rebranding Amsterdam’s NH Museum Quarter hotel under its Avani brand as part of its expansion in Europe.
The rebranded Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam is scheduled to open in Q2 this year, marking the brand’s first location in the Netherlands.
The renovated property will feature 163 rooms, a boardroom, a 24-hour gym, lobby lounge, and The Pantry, the brand’s ‘grab and go’ concept.
Amsterdam Central Station is just a ten-minute drive away, and the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre is a short tram ride from the hotel.
“Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam is a significant milestone for Minor Hotels, demonstrating our commitment to providing exceptional experiences worldwide. With this new opening, Avani guests can enjoy the art-inspired design of our latest property in the Netherlands,” said Dillip Rajakarier, group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels.
This upcoming launch follows recent Avani openings in Madrid, Milan, Venice, and Frankfurt, with the brand’s global property count set to double to nearly 100 by the end of 2026.
Headquartered in Thailand, Minor Hotels’ portfolio includes the NH, Anantara, Elewana, Tivoli, and Oaks hotel brands.
